At Clinton Animal Shelter, our mission is rooted in compassion, care, and second chances. We are committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abandoned and mistreated animals throughout Clinton and the surrounding communities. Each day, our team and volunteers work tirelessly to save lives and provide the love and shelter these animals deserve. One special dog who represents our mission is 💙Ash💙. This six-year-old sweetheart has spent 1,035 days in our shelter, just waiting for someone to see the love he has to offer. Ash has his quirks—he’s dog-selective, prefers female dogs, and is cautious with new people—but that’s because his past was likely filled with neglect, not kindness. Over time, Ash has learned to trust and love. He enjoys walks, car rides, treats, and absolutely adores his Kong toy (he even sleeps with it!).
